Yoga – Please visit the FAQ section of my website to learn more about Vinyasa Flow and Yin yoga. Both classes on this retreat can be adapted for beginners. Please bring a yoga mat with you, all other props are provided.

Yoga Nidra – A term that translates as ‘yogic sleep’. It’s a guided relaxation that allows you to feel the benefits of deep sleep and it’s a place where the brain waves are unable to accommodate stress or anxiety. With this extended practise we will explore a visualisation that will enhance the experience, releasing any negativity and blockages in the body that no longer serve us so we can emerge free and rested, ready to embrace the new season. Affirmation and Intention setting workshop – An affirmation is a positive thought repeated many times so we can influence a new mindset. It is particularly beneficial during a relaxation or Yoga Nidra practise where the mind is no longer able to make preconceived reactions as we are able to engage the evolved part of our brain so we have the freedom to choose our responses. During this workshop we will explore some positive statements and have some time to reflect on what you’d like to achieve for yourself as we move into the warmer seasons, a time for growth both in nature and personally.

Kokedama Workshop – I am absolutely delighted to be collaborating with Nikki from HS Botanics. An exceptional plant shop based in Alfriston and Lewes. Nikki will teach us how to make our own Kokedama to take home and love. Helping to unleash our creative side. This ancient tradition of housing the plant roots not only looks stunning but guarantees longevity and plant health, even if you’re not usually green fingered! Nature walk along Cuckmere River – Weather dependent, we will take a short walk along the Cuckmere River to breathe some fresh air and take advantage of the setting this beautiful venue has to offer. Please bring shoes suitable for walking in and a change of clothes, just in case!

Food and drink – All food and drink on this day retreat will be provided. Please do let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

Locally Sourced where we can

Our morning coffee will be provided by Liquid Spirit Coffee Roasters. Based in Litlington, just a stones throw from our Retreat venue. Their aim is to extract the best natural flavour from every coffee bean, so they scrutinise every detail about the origin of the beans and the farms they come from.
