The Venue

This specially selected retreat venue offers a wide range of amenities to ensure that you have an unforgettable experience, including a private swimming pool, tennis court, beach volleyball, French Boules, table tennis and a professional pool table. There is also a gymnasium for those looking for an extra workout.

We’ll include two excursions to enhance your retreat experience so you can explore the local area. The first; a visit to the castle of Guadalest. This fascinating ruin offers panoramic views of the surrounding valley and reservoir. Enjoy some wild swimming or just take in the views. Access to the tunnel is through a natural tunnel which add an air of mystery to the experience. We will follow this with a visit to the seaside town of Altea with its narrow cobbled streets of the Old Town with its many shopping and picturesque views. Or maybe you’d rather indulge in the delicious tapas and rose instead? You can even head to the seaside with its crystal clear waters and stunning beach. The second; a morning beach yoga class and visit to the town of Moraira and El Portet. The Friday market is one of the largest on the Costa Blanca. Enjoy a brunch out and maybe a shopping trip for a souvenir.

I searched for so long to find a venue that would not only provide us with a beautiful space to practice in, but one where we will feel ultimately comfortable. This will be our second visit to this incredible space. A true home away from home, but will all the added benefits this stunning villa provides. The main house is cleverly arranged over three levels and offers various lounge areas to enjoy some quiet time. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty of the landscape ensures a relaxing and nourishing environment.

Our Yoga classes will be held in the outdoor Yoga Shala and indoor Yoga Studio. All yoga mats and props are provided.

Accommodation

In order to select your room, please complete the application form linked on this page. More details about each room are listed below. All rooms have private ensuite bathrooms and complimentary linen, bath and pool towels are provided. There are three Superior rooms available, two with private balconies one overlooking the pool, one with countryside views. The third is largest of the rooms. The rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Cuisine

We will have our own chef and assistant who will prepare local, seasonal and nutritional cuisine. The focus of this retreat is to enjoy delicious and fresh produce but not to diet or restrict yourself in any way. We will enjoy a mostly vegetarian menu with each day offering a varied array of delicious and visually pleasing food.

Our retreat chef is Debbie Wright of Villa Cuisine in Moraira. Having owned two restaurants on the Costa Blanca, she believes that healthy food that nourishes the soul must not only be nutritious but also delicious. She has a passion for all types of cuisine having travelled extensively but particularly enjoys cooking food from Asia, the Middle East and Mediterranean. She also makes some pretty awesome cakes!

Included in our retreat are three meals per day (except the first and last day). Breakfast, lunch (2 courses) and dinner (3 courses).
