Yoga Nidra is suitable for all. You are welcomed into a warm candlelit space where you are offered the chance to fully and completely relax. Letting go of any worries or anxieties. Yoga Nidra translates as ‘Yogic Sleep’ and is received lying down, that being said if you are uncomfortable lying flat, I have plenty of props to help support you.

Using breath awareness, body scanning and visualisation techniques I will guide you through some techniques that allows the body and mind to completely relax. We are aiming to not actually fall asleep but to surf the sleep/wake border similar to REM sleep where the mind can process events and emotions from the day. Studies have shown it’s in this brain wave state of 7.83hz that Cortisol (stress hormone) production ceases and the feel-good hormones Serotonin and Oxytocin are released.

The main benefits of a Yoga Nidra class are:

This class takes place once per month.
