Information

More information

Yoga – Please visit the FAQ section of my website to learn more about Vinyasa Flow and Yin yoga. Both classes on this retreat can be adapted for beginners. The idea of this retreat is to tune inwards. To decide what your body is craving today, and with this in mind all classes are purely optional. If you decide to spend the whole week by the pool or experiencing the local area then please do so. This is your retreat, so there are no expectations, nothing you need to do except relax, reconnect and be purely and completely focused on what you need. Let me take care of the rest.

Yoga Nidra – A term that translates as ‘yogic sleep’. It’s a guided relaxation that allows you to feel the benefits of deep sleep and it’s a place where the brain waves are unable to accommodate stress or anxiety. More information about Yoga Nidra is available under the News section of my website.

Afternoon workshop – I will be asking you what you’d like to include on this retreat. A workshop will be created for you to delve deeper into your personal practise. I am there to offer you one-to-one guidance.

Excursion to Es Vedra – On our final afternoon together I will offer you the opportunity to see Es Vedra. Apparently the monolithic limestone rock formation of Es Vedra, off Cala D’hort on the south coast of Ibiza, is the third most magnetic point in the world and has long been referred to as the source of Ibiza’s inexplicable energy. It’s a sunset that you just experience at least once in your lifetime.

You will be offered the chance to take part in a guided hike up some of Ibiza’s highest cliffs, to fully appreciate this magical view in all its glory. Those wishing to not take part can relax on the beach below.

After our walk/relaxing on the beach to see this stunning view of Es Vedra, we will dine overlooking the beach and watch as the sun goes down.

Flights and transfers – Flights are available through a number of websites and airlines. Flight times from the UK are only around 2.5hrs so there are some discounted deals. Transfer to the retreat will be by taxi or by private car and is only 15 minutes. Transfers can be arranged in advance if you’d prefer.

Food and drink – All food and drink on this retreat will be provided except for one evening where we will venture into the local community for an evening out. My aim is for the retreat to be vegetarian with a focus on delicious, nourishing, organic nutrition. This is not a detox or a fast, but to enjoy food that is prepared for you by our own in-house chef, Mar from Mar Soul Kitchen. No washing up, as we’ll have a housekeeper to take care of us. Just sit back and enjoy spending time with like-minded yogis. Please do let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

About Ibiza – Ibiza is widely known for its party scene, beautiful beaches and stunning coastline. But there is something quite magical about this island with its natural beauty and its laid back vibe. Whether you choose to stay within our gorgeous retreat space or venture out to explore know you’ll return back to the UK with a renewed and enlightened mindset. There really is no other place quite like it.

Nearest Beach – 15 minute drive but worth it as it’s the nicest on the Island!

Closest Village – 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk.

Optional Extras – There are many stress relieving, well-being treatments available such as Ayurvedic full-body warm oil massage, reflexology, lymphatic drainage massage, sound healing, facial and many more that are bookable upon request. Full details will be provided at a later date. These will incur an extra fee.

So are you ready to invest in your own well-being? Ready to rest and restore body and mind? Please do contact me if you have any further questions.

Is this retreat right for me?

This retreat is suitable for everyone! Whether you are a brand new yogi or a seasoned practitioner, the privilege of immersing yourself in your yoga practise is not only transformative but also an experience like no other. We are all welcomed, we are all there to experience the same thing; rest, relaxation and maybe a connection back in with ourselves and others. You have the freedom to do as much or as little as you choose because this retreat is about you and what you need. I’m only offering the space. I want you to feel comfortable to enjoy your time at this retreat focusing on yourself.

But I don’t think I’m fit enough for two yoga sessions a day!

I’m with you there! Our first class in the morning will be a more energising flow.  I offer many variations of the poses to suit all experience and energy levels. What I love about yoga is that it’s not prescriptive, you have the freedom to take it up or down a level as you choose. The second class is a Yin style which is a more relaxing style of yoga predominantly practised on the floor. More information about the different styles are available under the FAQ section of the website. You have the option to do as much or as little as you choose on this retreat. If you’re in any doubt, please contact me and we’ll chat through it all.

How many people will be on this retreat?

Our maximum occupancy is 12 yogis plus me.

Can I come on my own or with a friend?

Either is completely fine! Many yogis travel on their own and meet new friends. If you’re unsure about sharing a room with someone you do not know, I do have some private rooms available at a very reasonable price. Or if you’ve opted for a shared room I will only pair guests that I believe will get on well.
If you’re travellling with a friend please let me know on booking so I can allocate the correct room to you both.

What are the best flights to get to Ibiza?

Both EasyJet and British Airways fly from the UK, please check with those websites. If in any doubt, email me and I’ll be happy to advise. I’ll also be setting up a couple of community groups so we can all discuss our expected arrival times.

How do I travel to the retreat venue from the airport?

There are taxis available outside the airport. The transfer time is approximately 15-20 minutes and will cost around €25. However, I can arrange private transport if you would prefer that option or perhaps if a few yogis arrive on the same flight a shared taxi or transfer could be an option.

Most important question – tell me about the food!

The food has been highlighted further up the page but will predominantly be vegetarian with a focus on healthy but delicious nutrition that will fill you up! My retreat chef really is extraordinary and she will cater 3 meals a day. 2 courses for lunch and 3 for dinner. If you have any dietary requirements please do let me know as soon as possible so we can plan the menu adequately.

Next really important question – please may I drink alcohol?

Yes. This is your retreat and if that is something you feel would enhance your experience then please do so. All I ask is for you to be respectful of other guests. Alcohol isn’t included in the retreat but can be purchased locally or be bought per glass or bottle from a selection I will hold at the venue.

The boring bit – how do I pay you and what is the refund policy?

To secure your place on this retreat, a non-refundable £200 deposit will be requested by invoice once you have emailed me to confirm your booking. We will discuss the room allocation, confirm the terms and conditions and any other questions you would like answered first. Payment will be made by bank transfer.

Obviously no one books a retreat expecting to cancel, but of course I understand we are arranging this retreat in advance, circumstances out of your control do happen. Please do make sure you have adequate travel insurance in place.

To keep it fair to myself, the retreat venue and other yogis the following cancellation policy will be in place.

The full retreat cost will be invoiced at 3 separate intervals. You will be emailed the full payment plan details.

The next reminder will be sent to request 50% of the final balance by 28 March 2024. The final reminder will be sent to request payment for the remaining balance which will be due by 31 July 2024.

If you book closer to the second invoice date, you will be asked to make the payment to balance.

If you would prefer to pay for the full retreat cost on booking, then you have the option to do so.

All payments are non-refundable unless I have to cancel the retreat. If this is the case all payments will be refunded in full. Full terms and conditions will be sent to you before you confirm the booking with me.
